An Ordinance to provide for the incorporation of trustees for the Port of Hong Kong.
Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong with the advice and consent of the legislative Council thereof, as follows:-
1. This Ordinance may be cit as the Hong Kong Port Trust Crdinance 194.

"Cha irman
means the person for the time being discharging the functions of Chairman of the Hong Kong Port Trust.
(b) "Dock" includes all basins, cuts, quays and wharves and any warehouses, tramways, railways and other works and thing: erected on or appertaining to any dock.
(e) "Master" includes every person (except a pilot or officer of the Hong Kong Port Trust) having command or charge of any ship.
(a) "Owner" when used in relation to any goods includes any consignor, consignee, shipper, agent or lien holder for tỷ
or custody of such goods; and when uscu in relation to any vessel includes any owner, par owner, charterer, consignee, or mortgagee in possession thereof.
(e) "Pier" includes any stage, stairs, landing place, jetty, floating barge or pontoon used for the purpose of landing and any bridges or other works connected there- with.
(I) "Pilot" means any person for the time being licensed as a pilot under the pro- visions of any enactment in force in the Colony.
(g)
"Port" means all those parts of the waters of the Colony which are tidal and includes all that part of the Shores of such waters to which the waters ordinarily reach when the tide is highest and includes any lands, buildings, docks, piers or other works from time to time and at any time vested in or controlled by the Trust.
(h) "Ship" includes any description of vessel used in navigation not propelled by oars, except junks or loro has not propelled by s'eam.
(i) "Trustees" means the trustees appuilt- ed by or under the provisions of section 3 of this Ordinance.
(i) "Trust" means "the Hong Kong Pert It" us constituted and incorporated under the provisions of this Ordinance.
